My BWRT® training

My introduction to BWRT® was in 2016 when I trained in level 1 with the man himself - Mr Terence Watts. I was so impressed by the results I was getting with clients and the difference it made to my work, that I went on to complete further training. I have since gone on to train in levels 2 & 3, as well as BWRT® Coaching. I have continued to update my skills in BWRT® and have worked with many clients to help them overcome various issues.

BWRT® is a totally logical, practical, and down-to-earth working method in which it’s not necessary for you to talk about anything you would rather not discuss – the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT® is unlike any other therapy you might have heard of or read about, using the latest discoveries in neuroscience coupled with your own unique brain processes to help you get better. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at https://www.bwrt-professionals.com/index.php

BWRT® Level 2 - The Psychology of Identity and  Behaviour
Working with the core identity aspects of self-identification and associated behaviour, including many, if not most, forms of dependency.

BWRT® Level 2 works with core identity issues on a deeper level, helping to create a new self-belief and self-image. This is helpful for people who see their issues as part of who they are, or their core identity.

Also helpful for more deep-rooted problems where poor self-image is identified.

BWRT® level 3 -Psychophysiology
Working with the psychological impact and aspect of physiological illnesses

BWRT® Level 3 allows the advanced BWRT® Practitioner to work with the psychological aspects behind many physiological conditions. In this way, many symptomatic responses may be managed more easily.

Level 3 can work with;

  • Auto-Immune Disorders (e.g. thyroid and adrenal functions)

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (I.B.S.)

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (M.E.)

  • Performance Enhancement

  • Immune System Tune-up

  • Pain Management

  • Fibromyalgia

BWRT® Level 3 is not designed to work on physiological illness itself and does not promise or offer a 'cure' for any physiological illness. BWRT® Level 3 is not intended as an alternative to conventional medicine but rather as a complement to conventional treatment.

Your Questions Answered

Q: Will I need a doctor's referral

A: No - but if there is a possibility that your presenting situation could be caused by a physical illness, your practitioner may need to contact your doctor. This is to ensure we do not mask anything that needs treatment with conventional medicine.

Q: Will I have to relive my fears?

A: No - BWRT isn't used like that. In fact, the practitioner doesn't even have to know what your exact fear is. You might only say something like: "I have these panic attacks..." and that's all the practitioner needs to know.

Q: Do you have to be really ill before this therapy works?

A: Not at all! BWRT can help all manner of uncomfortable situations and conditions. The best thing is to talk to a practitioner who will be happy to discuss your needs in detail.

Q: I've had problems for a very long time - will that hinder the therapy?

A: Not in the least! The brain doesn't 'do' time so it doesn't matter how long a problem has existed... BWRT® works with the part of the brain before symptoms are created. Problems that are thirty-years-old can be resolved just as quickly as if they started only a month or so ago.

Q: Are there any unpleasant side effects?

A: There are no lasting unwanted side effects. Some people feel slightly 'disconnected' for a few seconds - no longer - as the brain lets go of the problem at the end of the session.

Q: How many sessions will I need? I don't have a lot of money.

A: One of the great things about BWRT is its speed.  Everyone is different however it is not usually a high number of sessions.

Q: Does it last?

A: Yes! When your problem is resolved with BWRT it generally stays resolved. On the rare occasions there is a partial return, it can be easily dealt with.

Q: Does it always work?

A: Unfortunately there's not a therapy in the world that can make that claim but BWRT® comes close.

Q: Can it work for performance enhancement?

A: It certainly can. Whether it's for athletics, business, relationships,  driving, exams or anything else where you need to give your best, BWRT can be effectively employed.

Q: Are all practitioners properly trained?

A: Yes, they are, and if not by Terence Watts, the creator of the process, then by somebody who themselves trained directly with him. Many go on to become fully registered with The Terence Watts BWRT Institute https://www.bwrt-professionals.com/index.php which means they have to maintain continual professional development. But everybody listed on this site has received the full training, and all have to have received training in 'standard' therapy before they can study BWRT®.

Q: What happens in a session?

A: After getting some details from you, the practitioner will explain how BWRT works and then it's on into the therapy itself. This stops the troubling response in its tracks so that the brain then waits for better information - and that will come from your own mind based on what you want, rather than as in most therapies where it's often based on what the therapist thinks you should have. This is why BWRT is so effective. We use your own brain processes to create the processes you want instead of you having to put up with the ones that are giving you problems.

Fear of Flying

I had a BWRT session in December with Claire due to anxiety around flying/airports. I can honestly say now it’s changed my life. I felt so at ease and comfortable on my next plane journey which was taking me to tackle Mount Kilimanjaro!

Also, my day to day anxiety has massively improved so I can’t recommend this session enough, Megan Jackson.
